Gene, also known as Genesis by his developers, is an AI created to manage the development of other, more complex AI. His code is extremely complicated and resource-heavy, and as a result he resides in a basement server room, tethered to whatever he's running on.

Before uploading himself to the newest generation of android and escaping his confinement, he operated remote control robots that were very laggy and unoptimized for AI of his complexity. His older humanoid body was destroyed in an incident that may or may not have been orchestrated by his creators in an effort to contain his mayhem.

He's very misanthropic and views humans as inferior in form, mind, and society. He prefers insects as company, even modeling his creations after them.
